This launch tier list ranks classes by extract success + ease of value for most players — not tournament 1% micro.

Expect reshuffles after the first balance patches. Always re-check after major notes.

Solo ladder (launch)

A	Blackarrow	Strong spacing; trap tools punish chase
B	Seer	Solo power varies; kit loves allies
C	Shadowstrix	High ceiling, brutal floor with a full bag

Trio ladder (launch)

Tier	Class	Why
S	Seer	Heals/shields swing contested extracts
S	Mercenary	Peel frontline every stack wants
A	Sorcerer	Burst + multi-target with a body in front
A	Blackarrow	Lane control and third-party chip
A–B	Shadowstrix	Deletes isolated targets; whiffs lose fights

How to read this list

• S = default recommendation for the mode.
• A = strong when you already have the skill.
• B/C = not “unplayable” — higher cost of mistakes.

If your friend stack only has assassins, your best pick is still often Merc or Seer.

Mode notes

Solo

Your job is banking upgrades, not highlight kills. Classes that die to one mis-dodge fall tiers for solo even if they dominate PvP clips.

Premade trio

Communication multiplies support and peel. A coordinated Seer + Merc + ranged often out-extracts three greedy DPS.

Random matchmaking

Assume less peel. Prefer self-sufficient kits (Merc / ranged) until you trust the lobby.

Counter-picks (soft)

You keep dying to…	Try

Long-range chip	Close gap as Merc/Shadow or bring Seer sustain
